Meet The Artists

Nitin Shah
Lifetime ghazal enthusiast and a self taught ghazal singer, with passion for different styles of ghazals sung by maestros like Mehdi Hasan, Jagjit Singh, Ghulam Ali, Hariharan and more.
- Nitin has been learning hindustani classical from Shri Vijay Koparkar, Pune for last 5 years.
- Nitin is also been learning tabla from Padmashri Swapan Chaudhuri ji for over 12 years.
- Software engineer by profession, Nitin has now turned attention to music as a full time profession.
Persisting in his pursuit of musical excellence, Nitin continues his learning journey to this day, deepening his understanding of ghazal gayaki.

Suruchi Herlekar
Suruch Alawani was introduced to music at the age of 7 by her mother. She started the formal training of Hindustani Classical Music under the guidance of Mrs. Ranjana Bhide(Pune, India) and completed Sangeet Visharad.

She is still continuing her study of Hindustani Classical Music in the US under the guidance of Mrs. Shubhangi Sakhalkar who is a disciple of Dr. Prabha Atre and Vidushi Padma Talwalkar.
Along with classical music She is very passionate about light music (Sugam Sangeet).
She has performed in various programs in bay area for last 14 years.
She has represented Bay area in Brihan Maharashtra Mandal’s Sa Re Ga Ma competition.
She has been teaching Hindustani classical and semi classical music to adults and kids for the last eight years.
